Spotted something wrong here, like an outdated date or a dead link? Tell us and we will check. If your query is better handled elsewhere, we will name the official channel.

Where We Cannot Help
We cannot see your SRD status, alter banking details, lodge appeals or award bursaries. Those jobs belong to official bodies: a SASSA branch, NSFAS, the funder itself, the SASSA toll-free line or the SRD website.
We cannot see any government system or anyone's personal records.

For questions about your own grant, use SASSA directly: toll-free line 0800 60 10 11, SRD WhatsApp 082 046 8553, email [email protected] and the website www.sassa.gov.za. Confirm any number on the government site first, then call or message.
Spotted A Scam?
Got a strange message that uses the name SASSA or NSFAS? Do not tap any link in it. Screenshot it, report it to the organisation it pretends to be, and let your family and friends know. You are welcome to send the screenshot to us too, so we can warn other readers.
